The M1 Collectors Club was formed in the early 2000's .
We are a national club with members in all 50 states.
We operate numerous social medial groups on both Facebook, YouTube "X" and MeWe.
The M1 Collectors Club is dedicated to expanding the interest in the M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, 1911 Pistol, 1917 and 1903 rifles. Our goal is to educate and share information relating to the shooting sports, and
promote firearm safety.
CMP HISTORY
Civilian Marksmanship Program traces its origin to 1903 when Congress and the President established the National Matches and National Board for the Promotion of Rifle Practice. The program gave life to a concept advanced by President Theodore Roosevelt and and several other national leaders that marksmanship skills developed through regular practice and competition contribute to the nation's defence.
